Privacy Policy
Updated by Quetta Networks Legal Team: Apr 10, 2026
Introduction
Quetta is a product of Quetta Networks Limited. Quetta is committed to providing a safe, secure, and private browsing experience. This Privacy Policy explains how Quetta collects, uses, protects, and gives you control over your data.
Quetta complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), among other comprehensive privacy frameworks in Europe, the United States, and other regions. Our default position is simple: Quetta does not collect personal information unless you explicitly choose to provide it. When Quetta does collect data, it is used solely to improve our services, never sold, never shared without your consent.
By using Quetta, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Data Collection
Quetta does not require you to log in or create an account, and does not collect your personal information by default.
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to any data that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address, or billing information), or data that can be linked or combined with other information to identify you (such as a device ID). Data that does not fall within this scope is classified as “non-personal information.”
The non-personal information Quetta may collect is limited to basic usage data related to your use of the application, such as daily active usage trends, tab navigation behavior, plugin usage records, and general usage statistics for in-app features. This information is collected in an aggregated and non-personally identifiable form and is used solely to analyze product performance, optimize the user experience, and improve service features; it cannot be used to identify any specific user.
Data Usage
Quetta may use anonymized, non-personal information for the specific purposes described below:
Diagnostics and Crash Reports: When Quetta experiences a crash or freeze, the app may generate a diagnostic report to help us identify and resolve the issue. This report contains technical data about the cause of the crash, along with the memory and execution state of the device at the time of the incident. All diagnostic data is fully anonymized and cannot be used to identify you. You choose whether to send these reports, and you can disable crash reporting at any time in the app settings.
Analytics and Product Improvements: To continuously improve Quetta, the app may send anonymized usage reports describing general browsing behavior. These reports may include information such as session duration, the number of tabs opened, plugin usage status (name, enable/disable state, frequency), and whether specific features were used (e.g., incognito mode activation frequency, bookmark add/delete operations, download times, browser setting adjustments).
User Size Estimates: When you install or launch Quetta, the app may anonymously send a minimal signal, containing no personal information, to help us estimate the size of our active user base. This data does not reflect any usage behavior and cannot be used to identify you. You can disable anonymous daily usage pings at any time in the app settings.
Security
Quetta upholds enhanced privacy and security protections as core principles and implements security measures that comply with industry standards. Guided by a privacy-centric design philosophy that emphasizes incognito browsing, Quetta retains only the data necessary for product operation and optimization, and only when required and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Please note that the internet is not a completely secure environment. Quetta strongly advises against transmitting sensitive personal information over unencrypted channels. Additionally, please be aware that while Quetta does not store your browsing history locally, your internet service provider may still monitor the websites you visit—a situation that is beyond Quetta’s control.
In the event of a personal information security incident, Quetta will promptly assess whether the incident constitutes a reportable data breach in accordance with applicable European, U.S., and other relevant privacy laws. Given the nature of Quetta’s business, the scope of any potential incident will be limited to non-personal, anonymized data. If notification is required, Quetta will notify the relevant regulatory authorities and/or affected individuals as soon as reasonably practicable.
If Quetta ceases operations, Quetta will notify you in advance and delete or anonymize all remaining non-personal information within 90 days, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Your Data Protection Rights
You have full control over your personal information. You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Specifically, under applicable privacy law (including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA), you have the following rights:
Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal information Quetta holds about you and how it has been used or disclosed.
Right to Rectification: You may request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of personal information that is no longer necessary for legal or legitimate business purposes. Quetta will complete the data deletion within 15 working days after receiving your reasonable request.
Right to Restriction of Processing: You may request that Quetta temporarily restrict the processing of your personal information while Quetta verifies your identity or addresses your objection.
Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal information where Quetta relies on legitimate or public interests as the legal basis for processing.
Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of any or all data collection, including Google Analytics data collection, by disabling the data collection function in the app settings.
Right Against Discrimination: You will not be discriminated against by us (e.g., refusal of service, reduced service quality) when exercising the above privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@quetta.net. Quetta will respond to all requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. When verifying your identity, Quetta only needs you to provide non-personal device-related information to confirm your usage records.
Third-Party Services
Quetta integrates Google Analytics to collect and analyze the aforementioned anonymous usage data, which helps Quetta better understand user behavior and optimize the product experience. Data collected through Google Analytics is subject to Google’s own Privacy Policy (you can view details at https://policies.google.com/privacy). This data does not contain any personal information and cannot be used, either directly or indirectly, to identify you. You can disable Google Analytics data collection at any time in the app settings.
Children's Privacy
Quetta does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13("minor"), or the applicable minimum age in relevant jurisdictions. If you are a minor, please do not submit personal information through our services.
If Quetta becomes aware that Quetta has inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, Quetta will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to Quetta should contact us immediately at support@quetta.net
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Quetta may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or product features. When Quetta does, Quetta will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, Quetta will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means (such as pop-up windows in the product or official website announcements).
Your continued use of Quetta following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the updated Privacy Policy, you may stop using our product, and Quetta will stop collecting your relevant data and delete the collected data in accordance with regulations.
